Project Natal: XBOX 360 Motion Sensing Controller (Read Description)

Posted by admin on July 10th, 2009 and filed under Best Xbox 360 games | 25 Comments »

Microsoft is now taking a stab at family gaming in order to compete with the Wii’s high sale numbers.

Things to remember:
1. No one has this already, it hasn’t been released for the public yet.

2. The videos on the TV in this video are odviously not really there they just projected them onto the screen digitally, they aren’t really playing those games.

3. This won’t be that expensive, my estimate is around $100-$200 dollars, it’s just a camera.

Classic Game Room HD – MARS MATRIX for Sega Dreamcast Pt2

Posted by admin on July 8th, 2009 and filed under xbox 360 shooting games | 25 Comments »

Part 2 of 3: Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of MARS MATRIX on the Sega Dreamcast video game console system. Does the USA finally send a space ship to mars someday and start a colony? Is there a colonized settlement on the planet mars where people can grow farms and live in peace and harmony? Is there life on Mars? Well, they just found water recently and NASA is supposedly sending people there on a mission someday. Mars Matrix predicts the future. The people on Mars are attacked by Martians who have a huge army of spacecraft that shoot pink and blue lasers and listen to blasting techno music every second of every day. The martians are upset that mankind has disturbed their red planet rave and seeks vengeance in the form of pain and blood and loud, flashy, blinky lights and explosions. Released in 2000 for the Dreamcast by Capcom, Mars Matrix is a vertical scrolling shoot ‘em up or SHMUP and is pretty crazy. You could even call this game a maniac shooter, among the most challenging of the science fiction based SHMUPS. The vertical scrolling gameplay is shown off in the footage as you collect lots of experience point gold cube things and blast away aliens like it’s just no thing. A rare game and fairly collectible today, Mars Matrix is a true classic shooter and worthy of your attention if you like games like Ikaruga, Radiant Silvergun and Raiden 3. It would be great to see this game released on a next gen console like the PS3 or Xbox 360 Live Arcade in the future, but this Dreamcast version has great graphics and sound and totally rocks. Classic Game Room was the original classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999-2000, now on DVD. The reviews on the HD series are reviewing PS3, PS2, Genesis, NES, Atari and Xbox 360. Classic Game Room reviews FIGHTING FORCE 2 on Sega Dreamcast

Posted by admin on July 8th, 2009 and filed under xbox 360 shooting games | 25 Comments »

Classic Game Room season 1. January 6, 2000. Review of FIGHTING FORCE 2 for the Sega Dreamcast Video game console. There are a lot of great games on the Sega Dreamcast. This isn’t one of them. This is possibly the worst game on the DC, FF2 does nothing well. Not one thing. Seriously. Game Room reviewed this back in early 2000 when games like Soul Calibur, Hydro Thunder and Soul Reaver were out. How could they even think this game would compete? This is a science fiction action shooting game like a first person or third person shooter. You run around like a bohunk with a gangsta John Woo sideways gun grip adn shoot people, do back flips and basically just suck. Although this game takes place in the future we’re glad this game is from the past so we never have to look at it again. Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Classic Game Room HD marked the return of the series in 2008. The original Classic Game Room reviewed Atari, NES, Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast and Playstation… too bad they didn’t get to Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 or Wii. Now Classic Game Room HD is covering the new systems.

Classic Game Room – SEGA DREAMCAST vs. MAGNAVOX ODYSSEY 2

Posted by admin on July 8th, 2009 and filed under new xbox 360 games | 25 Comments »

Classic Game Room HD reviews a competition between two video game console powerhouses, the SEGA DREAMCAST vs. the MAGNAVOX ODYSSEY 2. Which gaming system is the winner, the Sega Dreamcast or the Magnavox Odyssey 2? Watch this detailed review and find out. The Sega Dreamcast is a popular game system that was released in North America in 1999. The Magnavox Odyssey 2 is a classic cartridge based game console released in 1978. In some ways these two game systems could not be more different… in some ways they could not be more alike. The Sega Dreamcast has Sonic, Crazy Taxi, Soul Calibur and Chu Chu Rocket. The Magnavox Odyssey 2 has K.C. Munchkin, KC’s Krazy Chase, War of Nerves and Invaders from Hyperspace. Each game console costs about $40 today, used, and games are readily available and frequently inexpensive. Sega is well known for the amazing array of arcade titles, machines and game consoles like the Sega Master System, Sega Genesis, Megadrive, Game Gear and Sega Saturn. Magnavox is known for…. televisions. Maybe they made boom boxes too, and lots of other stuff. This is an interesting and entertaining look at two video game consoles with short life spans. It didn’t have to be that way, and it doesn’t. You can buy the Dreamcast, Odyssey 2 and stacks of games for a fraction of the price of a new PS3 or Xbox 360. Classic Game Room loves classic retro systems as much as the new ones, and this competition of Sega Dreamcast vs Magnavox Odyssey 2 is one of our finest examples of how completely insane we are. We’ve already compared the Atari 2600 versus the Playstation 2 and the Atari 7800 vs. the PS3 and the Xbox 360 vs. the NES… why not this side by side awesome console comparison? CGRHD!

Dee Dee Planet [Dreamcast Beta Demo] UNRELEASED!

Posted by admin on July 7th, 2009 and filed under xbox 360 shooting games | 10 Comments »

http://www.unseen64.net

http://www.segacollection.com

“I’d never played any video games until then, but in order to act as a director for this game project, I bought all video games available and some software. As this ‘Dee Dee PLANET’ was based on 8 bit games from the 80’s, I played the old Nintendo selectively. ‘Dee Dee PLANET’ is categorized as a shooting game, but almost all existing shooting games have lots of options which players can choose as they like. Players choose their weapons, vehicles and fields, and they upgrade their characters based on their score. This can be applied to other genres like car-racing, fighting and role-playing games.

This ‘Dee Dee PLANET’ is a kind of shooting game which shoots using a parabola, and is pastoral rather than speedy. It has a mathematical clearness by controlling the parabola with only two parameters – angle and shooting power. We set up a totally different theme apart from the offensiveness of other shooting games.

Players fight with their opponents operating their robots inside of three different zones – block zone, gel zone and liquid zone. Each zone is filled with different materials (gas, viscous material and liquid), different gravity and different resistance. There’s also difference in the power of each wheel as player’s feet and weapon. They have affinities between each zone. Players cannot choose those elements by themselves, they’re just given to them. It’s kind of an Oriental outlook on the world – ‘once a man comes into this world with his own body, he has to live out his life’. We included absurd events and developments in our first plan. Some of them were actually included in the game, and some were taken off from the specifications in the process.”

Classic Game Room HD – REVENGE OF SHINOBI Genesis review Pt1

Posted by admin on July 4th, 2009 and filed under new xbox 360 games | 25 Comments »

Part 1 of 2. (audio remixed to sound correct) Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of THE REVENGE OF SHINOBI for the Sega Genesis 16-bit video game system. The Sega Genesis game console (aka the Mega Drive Megadrive) is CHRHD’s favorite gaming system, and it’s no surprise that Revenge of Shinobi is one of our favorite games. This two parters looks at this amazing side scrolling action game and what sets it apart from the rest. What we need is more 2d two dimentional side scrollers on game systems like the Playstation 3 PS3 and Xbox 360 and Wii. Although some platformers and 2 D side scrollers have hit Xbox Live Arcade XBLA we want brand new ones that combine old school action with martial arts mayhem, great stories, fun gameplay and characters. Revenge of Shinobi has it all! Break out the Genesis and enjoy a couple games of Shinobi…. Disco Shinobi of course. They should remake this game for 2008, 2009, 2010, or 2011, a remade Shinobi sequel for a new gamer system would be amazing.

Classic Game Room HD reviews VIRTUA COP for the Sega Saturn! Released in the arcades in 1994 and on the Sega Saturn in 1995, Virtua Cop is one of Sega’s most entertaining and fun arcade games. This awesome light gun game works with the Sega Saturn light gun (I’m using the Sega Stunner light gun) and plays exactly like the arcade game where you point and shoot at bad guys. This CGRHD review of Virtua Cop has gameplay footage from Sega’s Virtua Cop designed by legendary game designer Yu Suzuki (Out Run, Hang On, Shenmue). One of the best things about Virtua Cop is that you can get this awesome game play and shooting game for a bargain bin price today. $10 can get you Virtua Cop, the gun and the sequel, Virtua Cop 2. Classic Game Room HD – WARTECH for Xbox 360 review

Watch in High Definition! Classic Game Room HD reviews WARTECH for the Xbox 360 video game console. This game actually has a subtitle called WarTech “Senko No Ronde” but whatever, all you need to know is that it has Sega heritage, features giant robots with guns and is a fast paced, value priced arcade action game. This CGR WarTech review features gameplay footage from the game in high definition so that you can clearly see every “rounder” or giant fighting robot, the nice menu and graphical style and anime feel to the game. The action is smooth, quick and exciting once you figure out the complicated controls. You have guns, missiles, overdrive, B.O.S.S. super-powered fighting thingy doodles and about 8 characters to choose from. It isn’t an anime game per se but the cut scenes, which are recorded in Japanese dialog, have subtitles and Japanese manga style. If a 2 player vs. fighting game with a twist is what you’re looking for check out WarTech. If you want a fast pick up and play, difficult to master video game with a challenge pick up WarTech. If you’ve been wanting a new game but don’t want to spend much, pick up WarTech. For the price this game packs some short thrills just like an arcade game. Classic Game Room reviews Xbox 360 games and is an HD Xbox 360 review recording reviews in full high definition. How is WarTech, is Wartech any good, should I buy WarTech? Your questions will be answered in this review of WAR TECH. Giant mecha robots, mighty machines, overly cute anime.

Classic Game Room season 1. November, 1999. Soul Calibur was released in Japan in 1998 but found its way to the United States at the launch of the Sega Dreamcast video game console on 9-9-99. Remember the ads? Remember the hype about September 9th, 1999? It was like the moon was going to crash into the earth or something… The Sega Dreamcast was launched to start a whole new era in gaming. In its defense it was very good, however Sega could not stop the juggernaut of the Playstation 2 PS2 that was released the following year. Soul Calibur is an excellent fighting game featuring one player and two player combat. Soul Calibur is actually regarded as one of the best fighting games, if not one of the best video games of all time. Soulcalibur is the second game in the Soul series, following the game Soul Edge. It was produced and developed by Namco (the same place that made Pac Man and Dig Dug). SoulCalibur allows players to fight with a traditional arcade feel and style with detailed rendered characters in unique and flambouyant 3D environments, much like Virtua Fighter 5 or DOA2. This was the 4th Classic Game Room episode and is regarded as one of the original pilots for the series. This review of Soul Calibur was done just a few weeks after the game and the system was released and Mark and Dave enjoyed the gameplay, the trailer for the different characters, footage, sketches, and moves. There is a new Soul Calibur IV coming out soon for the PS3 and Xbox 360 Video Game Systems. Enjoy this look back at how excited we were in 1999 long before we’d even imagined a SoulCalibur 4. Soul Calibur 4 hooooo!
