Microsoft is now taking a stab at family gaming in order to compete with the Wii’s high sale numbers.
Things to remember:
1. No one has this already, it hasn’t been released for the public yet.
2. The videos on the TV in this video are odviously not really there they just projected them onto the screen digitally, they aren’t really playing those games.
3. This won’t be that expensive, my estimate is around $100-$200 dollars, it’s just a camera.

Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of ROBOTRON 2084 for the Xbox 360 Xbox Live Arcade XBLA. Designed by Eugene Jarvis and released to the arcades in the early 1980’s, Robotron 2084 is one of the best old school classic video games ever created. You are a loner armed with a laser gun facing wave after wave of Robotrons bent on wiping out mankind. What will the year 2085 be like, how about 2086? This game asks a lot of questions and leaves few answers. But it does leave a wake of human carnage in its path. This is a hard shooter, sort of like Smash TV (hmmmm…. any similarities, maybe the same awesome designer??) CGRHD will also be covering Robotron 2084 for the Playstation 1 game console in the Williams Greatest Hits collection, Robotron 2084 for Atari 7800 and also Robotron 64 for the N64. Do they have a version of this game on PS3 or Wii? On Xbox Live you can get achievements and gamerpoints.

Classic Game Room HD reviews the Nintendo ZAPPER light gun for the NES video game system. The NES Zapper came with NES systems back in the day and has a copyright on the orange and NES colored unit of 1985. There were numerous NES games that used the light gun such as Operation Wolf, Duck Hunt and Freedom Force. Although light gun video games and shooting games for home consoles is nothing new or revolutionary, this NES Zapper always stands out in a crowd because of its bright colors and unique style. This Nintendo Zapper review featuring footage of the gun from all angles in high definition shows the build quality of this NES accessory and up close style essential to solidifying its lasting reputation as a video game duck slayer. If you like games with firearms (and the Uzi from the Operation Wolf stand up arcade machine) then this NES Zapper is a cool accessory to have in your arsenal of gaming controllers. Classic Game Room is the retro reviewer reviewing NES games, harware and accessories as well as new releases for the Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360. CGR talks about how to modify a light gun with a car battery to have a modified NES Zapper laser cannon! You can even get a scope for this thing.

Classic Game Room HD reviews PEGGLE for XBLA and Xbox 360. This AWESOME game is Plinko meets Pinball meets Blade Runner (watch review to see why). Crush your enemies with Peggle mastery in this amazing old school style arcade game from the fun-masters at Pop Cap. Peggle should appeal to those gamers who love puzzle games and those fun arcade style games on the Atari 2600 and NES. This HD review of PEGGLE has gameplay footage from Peggle on XBLA and Xbox 360, available in the Pop Cap Arcade Volume 2 disc. One or two player action, challenge games and non-stop Peggle action make this an affordable must have for your 360. Peggle is so awesome it can also be played on iPhone and Nintendo DS. Ten different fun characters greet you through the variety of game boards in Peggle. Multiball, pinball flippers, explosive balls (yeah, you heard me) and the FIRE ball keep Peggle interesting and challenging. This is such an awesome game because it’s fun and reminds me of arcade games from the 1980’s mixed with a Japanese game show. Ode to Joy plays when you clear a level, rainbows flash all of the screen and Peggle has unicorns. FRIGGIN’ UNICORNS! Yes, Peggle. Buy it now. Wonder why you didn’t buy it 10 minutes ago. You can’t live another second without playing Peggle. This CGRHD has high definition gameplay footage from PEGGLE on XBLA Xbox Live Arcade, rad. Earn achievement points in Peggle for doing some pretty challenging things! Watch this CGRHD review to learn how to play Peggle.

Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of the NINTENDO ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM vs. the XBOX 360 video game console. The NES came out in the USA in 1985, the 360 came out in about 2005. Does 20 years make that much of a difference? Will the NES output HD and play online games? Will the Xbox 360 play Super Mario Brothers and Duck Hunt? Which game console should you choose to play you collection of new and classic arcade retro old school video games? It’s all here in this review. The NES uses the NES Advantage. The Xbox plays Halo 3…. who wins? In this review you’ll also see cartridges of Bionic Commando, GI Joe Atlantis Factor, Ninja Gaiden, Life Force and Blaster Master. Are you tired of hearing about which is better, the Xbox of the Playstation 3 PS3 or the Wii ? Well we are too. Here’s the Xbox vs. the NES!!

Classic Game Room reviews the NINTENDO Wii video game console! The Wii could be Nintendo’s best console since the original NES Nintendo Entertainment System. The Wii is a revolutionary gaming system and this Wii review shows what makes the Wii special vs. the PS3 and the Xbox 360. Is the Wii for you, would you rather play Wii fit or shoot things with massive laser cannons in HDTV graphics? The Wii may not be hi-def but it is hi-tech (owwww, that sucked!) and has a really unique controller that uses motion sensing technology and a nunchuk to make actions happen on the screen. The Wii is marketed as a unique social gaming console with a more family appropriate array of games. It gets you up off the couch (if you want that… boo standing!) and can have you dacing around the room playing games like Wii Sports Bowling, Golf and Far Cry Vengeance. This is a unique CGR review of the Wii not seen anywhere else, where Classic Game Room pours 30+ years of gaming experience over the Wii. Does the system have what it takes to be successful (it already is), will the Wii sell out in stores (yes), will the Wii dominate the universe in a way not seen since the Atari 2600??? With the unique controller, Nintendo proprietary games like Mario Cart, Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Metroid Prime 3 Corruption one could say the Wii has a chance… Wii vs. PS3 vs. Xbox 360. Bring it on into Classic Game Room stadium!
