I just got this and … I just got this and it’s very very good, it’s a lot of fun knocking buildings down and smashing people with that hammer. It’s hard to beat this one great way of getting around the usual duck and cover thing by plowing a truck through their cover and over them, laughing the whooooole way.
im thinking about … im thinking about getting this game on xbox 360 and to do it i have to trade in ghost recon 2, conflict denied ops and COD3 do you guys think i should do it?
Thanks,m8…
My … Thanks,m8…
My apologies if I overreacted.
I checked wikipedia out after waiting a reply and it seems so that SR2 is entirely Havok engine, and RFG is GeoMod 2.0 and Havok physics engine.
I bought RFG moments ago and now it’s sledgehammer-time. Cheers!
Lol, I really didn; … Lol, I really didn;t mean it that way. I seriously thought you were comparing RFG to SR2, that’s why I said what I did. Not to offend you, I just thought it was a stupid comment if you were comparing the two.
But to answer your question, no they don’t run on the same game engine. RFG runs on GeoMod2.0, a game engine designed specifically for the game. I don’t know about SR2’s engine though.
heh Mark is all … heh Mark is all about the Vectrex now. That’s awesome! I was wondering what he thought of this game because he really enjoyed the original Red Faction. One of his funniest reviews ever.
Sorry, Mr. Egozilla … Sorry, Mr. Egozilla… It was a type o, I wanted to ask if it uses the same engine. I’d be thankful if someone could thell me that, because I think I heard it in the Gametrailers review that it does… and nottooclassified, bud out, I cleared SR2 100% and I’m curious about this game so stop being a tosser. But thanks for pointing out the type o anyway, Cheers
Well. To put it out … Well. To put it out there im just uming. COD4 has about 15k servers on PC. On 360 it has about 150 world wide. But as long as theres a server to join and play with I guess its okay. But control wise I’ve been playing CS for what…7 years? I’m really used to a mouse for pixel-point accuracy. I think analogs stick are harder to use for me personally
nephildevil, I’m … nephildevil, I’m sure it’s fun to shoot a branch off of a tree and occasionally, once every few days, punch through a little building made of sheets of metal in Crysis, but I’d rather destroy a concrete, re-bar enforced building with a sledgehammer.
Nothing comes close to the destruction in Red faction: Guerilla.
efanDank, this game … efanDank, this game has not yet come out for the PC, so you you can’t say Pc has x2 the servers. The Xbox version of the game does have about 10x as many people playing multiplayer at any given time when compared to the ps3 though.
Just get it on the Xbox 360, there are about 50 running servers at any given time and it supports party lobby’s better than the ps3. Great controls too, so don’t wait for the oc version just get it now.
Yeah… Malakian03. … Yeah… Malakian03… you obviously havn’t played either games. That has to be the funniest, and stupidest comment I’ve ever heard about Red faction: Guerilla.
This game is just … This game is just explosive and fun the entire time, but you didn’t mention the one flaw that I found most annoying while playing. It is a huge open world, but it is always so empty. You can find these huge, complex, awesome looking structures but they only show up every once in a while and the rest is gas stations and empty houses.
well you can … well you can atleast say that the EDF are not like the police in the Grand Theft Auto series where the police are not so organized……no the EDF show up in large numbers regardless who they are up against just to make sure your f$%@ed
